White-label or co-brand?
The right answer depends on the relationship you want the reader to have with the service.
White-label
Your brand leads the experience, while the regulatory roles remain clear. The customer-facing journey identifies the publisher’s role, Yeti Engines Ltd as the provider of the comparison service and Appointed Representative, and Innovative Risk Labs Ltd as Yeti Engines’ Principal. Where the publisher operates as an Introducer Appointed Representative, that status is also disclosed.
Co-brand
Your identity appears alongside Yeti. Useful where you want a visible specialist partnership as part of the proposition.

Regulatory framework
Your brand.
A defined regulatory framework.
White-label changes how the experience looks. The customer still has a clearly identified insurance service provider behind the journey.
Yeti Engines Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Innovative Risk Labs Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 609155).
Where a publisher is not already appropriately FCA authorised and its activities require IAR status, the relationship must complete IRL’s due-diligence and regulatory-onboarding process before launch. The required regulatory appointment, FCA registration and customer disclosures must be in place before the relevant activity begins.
In the standard white-label/IAR model, Yeti Engines collects and processes the customer information required for the comparison journey. The publisher does not receive or process customer quote details.
If a partner wishes to collect or process that information itself, that is a different regulatory model and requires separate IRL review and the appropriate regulatory permissions before launch.
Discuss the right arrangement for your businessA few useful answers.
Is white-label the same as an affiliate link?
An affiliate link refers someone to a separate proposition such as Yeti Compare. White-label creates a comparison destination presented in your brand, with a deeper implementation and operating agreement.
Can the experience match our brand?
Yes. Your logo, colours, typography and agreed domain can carry through the journey. We agree the brand configuration and implementation scope before launch. For teams that want to build their own interface, our API offers another route.
Do we buy the engine or become a partner?
The proposition is a distribution partnership. Licence, delivery, support and commercial terms depend on the agreed arrangement; they are not a transfer of the underlying platform IP.
Is there regulatory onboarding before launch?
Yes. Where the proposed publisher relationship requires Introducer Appointed Representative status, the publisher will need to complete IRL’s due-diligence process and the required IAR appointment and FCA registration before launch. Yeti coordinates the partnership and implementation process alongside that regulatory onboarding.
Who collects the customer’s quote information?
Yeti Engines does. In the standard white-label/IAR model, customer quote information is collected and processed through Yeti Engines’ comparison service and is not made available to the publisher. Partners receive the agreed attribution and commercial reporting without access to customer quote details.
